The Beach House Restaurant

This is a review of the Castle in the Sand Hotel DINING for BREAKFAST BUFFET. We loved their restaurant with breakfast buffet on this past Sunday morning (not sure if they have it every day). ONCE WE FOUND the entrance.....it's either through the hotel or a back entrance by the parking lot. :). The buffet had everything including fresh eggs, omelet eggs, corned beef hash, ham, sausage, etc... AND a waffle bar. The service was fantastic and the place was very clean. This is a great place! OH, AND BY THE WAY, try the coffee! It's from a local vendor and it's the best we've had ever!

Castle in the Sand owns The Waverly too. Castle in the Sand is nicer than The Waverly. The Waverly is old but no bugs and pretty clean.
The Ocean views are Beautiful if you get that type of room. Very convenient to get to the Beach. On-site Restaurant is very good for Breakfast and casual dinners.
Outside bar is good with food and drink available and small bands all the time. Fun !!

Not what I expected for the price! They make you think you are ocean front and while some rooms might be, ours was not! (And our price was far from 91 dollars a night)
The room was meh, found a used towel hanging behind the bathroom door! The couch was concerning so I had to put a flat sheet over it! Lots of closet space, not one hanger!
Pots and pans were so bad I had to go out and buy new ones!
The coffee machine! Ha- I bought instant! Toaster didn’t hardly work And this is just the first nights observations!
On the brighter side, it’s a rock throw to the beach, spacious and has some things other hotels would not have like washer dryer stove and dishwasher!
We definitely won’t stay here again!
